URGENT Fraud Notification

Recently, an Email was broadcast to numerous customers related to updating account information. THIS MESSAGE WAS ** NOT ** SENT BY OUR COMPANY OR ANY STAFF MEMBER. Blue Gravity employees will NEVER request password details and only assists with password issues AT YOUR REQUEST if lost, or absolutely required for troubleshooting purposes.

As a general rule of thumb, very few if any companies require customers to complete account updates or an account "verification" on insecure web sites without SSL protection (secure certificates).

ALWAYS CONFIRM THE URL IN YOUR BROWSER IS CORRECT - SINCE HTML FORMATTED MESSAGES CAN EASILY CONCEAL THE ACTUAL LOCATION WHERE DATA IS BEING SENT.

On June 1, 2004, we will be completing installation and testing of our RADWare LinkProof appliance. This device is designed to monitor and load balance network traffic to ensure maximum performance and reliability.

SPAM/Virus Filtering Added

Inbound and outbound messages are now being scanned using ClamAV for virus detection, and SpamAssassin to filter unsolicited commercial messages. This new screening process will reduce the number of illegitimate messages delivered to customer addresses and improve the overall performance of mail being sent through our network.
